Magnitude 5 earthquake strikes Turkey’s Elazığ province
The province of Elazığ in eastern Turkey was hit by a magnitude 5 earthquake on Thursday evening, Turkey’s state-run Anadolu news agency reported.

A magnitude 6.7 earthquake killed 41 people and injured more than 1,600 when it struck Sivrice on Jan. 24 this year.
But no damage or injuries was reported after Thursday’s earthquake, Anadolu quoted Elazığ governor Oktay Kaldırım as saying.
